About Me

Hello! I’m a retired teacher and your friendly guide to Chinese language and culture. With 33 years of experience in cross-cultural communication—including 18 years teaching English and 10 years teaching Chinese—I know how to make learning fun and stress-free. From everyday conversations to poetry and classical allusions, I’ll tailor lessons to your needs.

Outside of teaching, I love reciting classic texts, watching films, and playing table tennis. My home offers a warm, cultural atmosphere: enjoy fragrant Sanhua tea brewed by my husband as we chat about traditions or join us for a lively game of ping-pong. Located near Chengdu’s panda base and other attractions, we’ll explore local culture together and share authentic Sichuan meals.

The area is well connected by multiple bus stops, with Ertaizi Shulong Road junction station a 13-minute walk away, offering routes 60, 655, 659, 666, and 198 to the city centre.
