About Me

Hello, I’m an English teacher working at a primary school in Kunming, where I use immersive, game‑based activities to help students build confidence in everyday English while having fun. I’ve also lived in Myanmar, where I taught Chinese. That experience deepened my understanding of different cultures and strengthened my appreciation for the richness of the Chinese language.

I’m passionate about teaching Chinese and love introducing my guests to the natural beauty of Yunnan. Gentle, kind and patient by nature, I enjoy reading, cooking and learning new things. I also teach local arts and crafts unique to this region of China, giving guests an authentic and hands‑on cultural experience.

I live in an 86‑square‑metre apartment on the 15th floor. The property has a well‑designed layout with three bedrooms, two living areas and two bathrooms. Guests can enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the living room balcony. Upon entering, the L‑shaped kitchen sits to the right, alongside a convenient shoe cabinet. The dining area features a four‑seater table and flows naturally into the living room, which opens out to a scenic balcony. The overall layout is thoughtfully arranged, with the living spaces and bedrooms clearly separated to ensure privacy. The guest room includes an en‑suite bathroom and benefits from generous natural light through a large window. The bathroom has a wet‑and‑dry separation design and is fitted with windows for ventilation and brightness.

My home is located in Mr Yu’s community in Taiping New Town, Kunming, set at the southern foothills of the Western Hills. The neighbourhood enjoys excellent nearby amenities, including the New Kunhua Hospital, Sand’s Outlet Shopping Centre and Yulong Bay Riverside Forest Park. With a plot ratio of 1.2, a building density of around 15% and forest coverage close to 70%, the residential environment is spacious, green and comfortable. Public transport within the community is primarily served by local bus routes.
