About Me

Hi, I’m Livia and I’m a college teacher with a long-standing passion for language education. Over the years, I’ve taught English at the primary level and the Chinese language at both secondary and higher educational institutions. I am also a provincially certified Mandarin proficiency assessor in China, and I take pride in my clear, standardised pronunciation and my professional approach to language teaching and assessment.

Beyond the classroom, I’m deeply drawn to poetry, theatre, and film, arts that nurture my literary sensibilities and shape the way I experience the world. I also enjoy practising traditional Chinese cultural arts such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, and opera. Sharing these cultural treasures with others is one of my greatest joys. With sincerity in my interactions and dedication in my teaching, I look forward to connecting with people from around the world: sharing stories, exchanging ideas, and discovering the beauty of culture together in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
