About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Chen Xi, and I live in Beijing. I used to be a lecturer at Shenyang Jianzhu University, but later moved to Beijing, where I mainly engage in architectural examination training. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I can teach you authentic Chinese, covering General Chinese, Business Chinese, and HSK exams.

Outside of class, I will take you to explore the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and other sites, sharing insights into their architecture and the stories behind them. You can enjoy home cooking, practise calligraphy, ink painting and Chinese dance, and play table tennis or shuttlecock in the park.

I have a friendly, enthusiastic, and optimistic personality. I’m proactive in my work and have a wide range of interests, including table tennis, swimming, and painting. I’m familiar with Beijing’s scenic areas and can provide insights into famous historical buildings and traditional culture. The first floor features a modern kitchen, dining room, and a large living area, while the upper floors house the bedrooms, including a bright and comfortable guest room with a double bed, wardrobe, study desk, and a private bathroom. The interior design reflects a modern Chinese aesthetic, with solid wood flooring and furniture throughout, creating an atmosphere that is warm, refined, and intellectually serene.

My home is situated in Daxing District, in the southern part of Beijing, within the city limits and close to the Fifth Ring Road. It is part of a thoughtfully designed mixed-use complex that blends residential charm with commercial convenience. The community itself is a villa district, featuring a harmonious mix of townhouses and semi-detached villas set amid beautifully landscaped grounds inspired by traditional Chinese gardens. Transportation is highly accessible, with Demao Station on Subway Line 8 just over 700 metres away, and more than a dozen bus routes serving the area with conveniently located stops.
